Key reminders from the Year 11 Leavers letter
GCSE results day is Thursday 24th August, when grades are published nationally for all candidates.
Students can come into school in person to collect their results from the ILC from 9.00-10.00am. Please do not come any earlier, as your results will not be ready for collection.
If you are unable to come into school at that time, all results will also be emailed individually to each student's school email address at 10.00am. You will need to remember your password (as we cannot reissue them) and download your results, as your school email address will be disabled from 1st September.
Nobody else can collect your results on your behalf, unless you have already sent written authorisation to Ms Knight. The person collecting your results must bring proof of ID.
We regret that, for reasons of data protection, it is not possible to provide GCSE results over the phone.
School support
On results day, reception phones will be staffed from 9.00am-12.00pm. There will also be colleagues on-hand in school, between 9.00am and 10.00am, to provide help to students regarding their grades.
Sarah Moore, the school’s Careers Adviser, will also be in school at that time to provide careers support should anyone require it. Students and their parents/carers are also welcome to contact her via email/phone until 4.00pm on results day sarah.moore@ckcareers.org.uk (01484 213218).
